Welcome to OreCalc ("the Service"), currently accessible at orecalc.tech (and migrating to clashcalc.com). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

1. Permitted Use

OreCalc is a tool designed to help Clash of Clans players plan their equipment upgrades and calculate ore requirements. You agree to use the Service solely for your own personal, non-commercial entertainment. You must not:

• Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or exploit the application or its server functions.
• Use automated scripts or bots to access or scrape data from the Service.
• Submit malicious data or attempt to exploit the bug reporting or cloud synchronization features.

2. Data Handling & Cloud Sync

Our Service prioritizes your privacy and offline usability. Most calculations and planner settings are stored locally on your device via localStorage. If you explicitly opt-in and enable Cloud Sync, your configurations will be securely backed up on our servers. You are responsible for keeping your user ID confidential to prevent unauthorized sync overrides. If your User ID is compromised, you can request a player tag lock from the "Data Erasure" options in settings to secure your account data within the app. Note that you must first fetch your data from the Clash of Clans API to be able to sync it to the cloud; we do not allow cloud synchronization without a valid player tag.

3. Third-Party Integrations, Brands & Disclaimers

OreCalc integrates with the official public Clash of Clans API to fetch player tag data. By using these API features, you acknowledge that:

• Your player tag data request is subject to Supercell's Fan Content Policy and Supercell's Terms of Service.
• This Service is unofficial and is not affiliated with, endorsed, or sponsored by Supercell.
• Supercell owns all game assets, designs, and statistics. We do not claim any ownership of the fetched data.
• To facilitate API request delivery and optimize operational costs, player tag queries may be routed through third-party proxy servers (such as coproxy.royaleapi.com). In such instances, connection data may be subject to the respective proxy provider's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

All third-party product names, logos, trademarks, and brand assets (including but not limited to: GitHub, Crowdin, and Buy Me a Coffee) referenced or displayed within the Service are the property of their respective owners. Their appearance on the Service is for integration functionality, attribution, or linking purposes, and does not imply affiliation, sponsorship, or endorsement.

4. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that all calculation estimates (including but not limited to: event timings, ore income numbers or timeline projections) will be 100% accurate at all times. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service.

5. Changes to Terms of Use

We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms of Use at any time without prior notice. When we make updates, the "Effective Date" at the top of this page will be updated. Your continued use of the Service after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms of Use.
